Kris Jenner
Kristen (Kris) Jenner, American socialite, businesswoman and media personality, is perhaps most well known as matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family. In 2007, the series Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired, launching a successful career for the whole family as media personalities. With four children from her first marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian, and two from her second marriage to Caitlyn Jenner, Kris has raised and filled the role of manager for all six of her children: Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Rob, Kendall and Kylie. In 2007, she met with Ryan Seacrest who agreed to develop a reality television show that follows her family after sending a cameraman to visit the Kardashian household and capture the antics at the family barbeque. Seeing the potential, the series first aired on E! in October of that same year. The show has been described as “a Hollywood version of The Brady Bunch”, and captured the hearts and minds of many becoming one of the longest-running reality television series in the country. The final season of the show premiered on March 18, 2021, and has since seeded many spinoff series, such as: Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons, among many others. Since then the family has reunited for the Hulu series, The Kardashians, with the new series first airing on April 14, 2022. Kris Jenner now runs her own production company, Jenner Communications, and continues to manage the careers of her daughters. She has written an autobiography titled, Kris Jenner… and All Things Kardashian, and a cookbook entitled In the Kitchen with Kris. In September 2015 she became an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church to officiate the wedding of friend Faye Resnick's nuptials, and since then has officiated the wedding of Colton Haynes and most recently, the vow renewal of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi.
