Anthony Perkins
Anthony Perkins was an American actor who was best known for his lead role and outstanding performance in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. He was also an ordained minister from Universal Life Church.
Anthony started acting when he was young, and at age 15 he made his film debut in the movie the Actress. He later went on to do Broadway and was given recognition for his role in Tea and Sympathy. He received a supporting actor Oscar nomination for his role in Friendly Persuasion, and continued to star in other roles that garnered much fame and recognition in films such as the Tin Star, The Lonely Man, The Matchmaker, Fear Strikes Out, and Green Mansions. He was nominated for many awards, and eventually became one of the most talked about horror film stars in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
