John Lennon

John Lennon, along with all the other band members, was the lead singer and songwriter for the Beatles as well as an ordained minister.

John grew up just like the rest of the Beatles, in Liverpool and hailing from a working class family in the 1940s. He helped form the band with Sir Paul McCartney, a good friend and fellow performer. The Beatles went on to sweeping the entire world in a craze known as the British Invasion, or Beatle Mania. They devoted themselves to studio work, recording and releasing albums such as "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Magical Mystery Tour" and the "White Album".

Once the Beatles disbanded, he continued on his musical career with fellow artist and musician, Yoko Ono. The two would go on to make records, publishing’s, and political activism. John was murdered in 1980 and his legacy will live on as a beloved icon, song writer, political activist, and of course, an ordained minister.
